Cable duct | Clear mounting track for cable

This is a clear polycarbonate extrusion cable duct track designed for side-emitting applications, such as pool perimeter or step lighting. It contains UV-retardant additives and stabilizers, making it suitable for outdoor and indoor projects. When installed using the correct procedure and sealants, it provides IP40 protection grade. The track is available in two sizes for 13mm and 18mm side-emitting fibre cables.

Applications
The covered tracks provide extra protection for sidelight fibre optics, whether they are installed indoors or outdoors, guarding against dust and pollutants. To make the tracks dustproof, it’s crucial to seal the joints between adjacent tracks using silicone or another suitable sealant. The tracks can be installed using screws and plugs with the help of the bit-centring groove in the base. Alternatively, they can be installed using double-sided, high-grab adhesive tape, although the quality of the surface must be flat, non-porous, and free from dust or grease. If you want to view the light from the front, using a back, flat white reflector will improve the contrast of the light guide.
